Make epilator less painful?
Heyyyy,
I recently bought an epilator, which of course really hurts…
What do you do? Do you have a technique? Do you take painkillers? ðŸ˜
Thanks in advance <3

Hi, I'm 12 years old and have been having severe abdominal pain for about four hours. I've already been to the bathroom because I feel like I have to, but I only have to urinate, not a big one. I've even made myself a heating pad, but it doesn't go away. I also have constant…
Here is a picture of the spot on my head. I am 16 years old and I am worried that I might have some kind of illness or something else. Can anyone help me?
What do you think about this beautiful winter jacket? Male 21?
I have very long eyelashes, so I don't need thick ones. So, which company would you recommend?
A friend (17) has a birthday coming up. Unfortunately, I haven't known her very long, and I don't know what to get her.
So, let me briefly explain the situation: I have a good friend (we've been good friends for about two years), and we follow each other on Instagram. He's had a girlfriend for about a year and a half. Yesterday, he posted something on his Instagram story with his girlfriend, and he hid my story (you…
Many people get used to it over time. If you do it regularly, fewer hairs will grow back at a time, making it less painful. It also depends largely on the area you want to keep hair-free. On your legs, for example, it's not as painful as underarms or in the intimate area. In those cases, I would recommend using the epilator only for areas where you can tolerate the pain, and opting for a razor for more sensitive areas.
Some epilators have a cooling attachment that reduces the sensation of pain. But epilation is never completely painless.
I hate that, I'd rather use waxx things or something, it only hurts for a few seconds and doesn't damage the skin
It's possible, but you have to flip a switch in your brain to do it – not everyone can do it. You're really going for it.
The hair shouldn't be too long. Trim it beforehand if necessary. Or go to a professional. It's also uncomfortable, but better. Or get laser hair removal right away. It saves money and hassle in the long run.
I don't know how you use it. If you just pull it across, like with a lawnmower, then you'll get the maximum feeling.
But if you approach the area cautiously (only touching the first few millimeters) and then go back, you'll catch fewer hairs and therefore less pain.
Some epilators have a head attachment that narrows the passage for hairs. Again: fewer hairs, less pain, but it takes longer.
Before epilating, I would trim the hairs to about 3mm with a beard trimmer – it's a bit cheaper and the head doesn't clog up as quickly.
The more often you do this, the less painful it will be because the hair roots have to regenerate.
Over time it hurts less.
For me it helps if I do it in the shower with very hot water🥲
Um den Schmerz durch Hitze auszubalancieren?
