Mainboard shipped without cover?
Hi, I sold a motherboard through a classified ad. Now the person complained that the bezel/I/O shield wasn't included. My ad stated I was selling the motherboard, CPU, and fan, but I didn't mention in the description that the bezel was included. I offered to refund him €5, since it was missing. But he wants more. Do you think the fault is mine or his?
Another small addition to the already good answers: I think it’s good that you tried to compensate for the lack of the diaphragm with a partial refund. The difficulty here is that the buyer still needs a blend and 5€ probably not enough to buy a replacement. Depending on the mainboard model, the screen can cost on average including shipping between 10€ and 25€.
If you still have it, you can ask if the buyer wishes to receive it later. This would then be about +/- 5€ shipping, depending on the shipping type and service.
You should expressly exclude that content is missing compared to a new purchase of the same product. The screen is a bit more special than cable, because it is calibrated to the specific shape of each motherboard.
typos: You should explicitly mention that content is missing (…)
Or alternatively point out that only the products mentioned and shown in the form on the photos are sold without additional accessories.
Was that done? Otherwise, this will unfortunately become part of a price game for buyers.
If you buy a motherboard, you can also expect the screen, which is also included with a new motherboard.
Sending the screen would be the best solution.
I’ve already bought several boards and never complained about it.
As long as it is not written on, or in the pictures you do not actually take to it.
A motherboard is functional even without accessories, so where is the problem. But there was no complaint about Sata Kabel and Handbook?
The screen must be there as it belongs to the motherboard. You have to make damages.
Okey thanks for your answer:)
The aperture always belongs to it as standard.
It doesn’t have to be mentioned in a normal way.
The buyer is right here.
Just take the motherboard back.
