Determine magnetic compass course for a recreational boating license?

Hello dear community,

I have a problem with questionnaire 8: I can't convert rwk to mgk.

The question is: (sports boat is underway on 28.05.2012)

From the determined location, the vessel will approach the Jade Approach traffic separation scheme on a true course of 232°. The deviation is +2°; the mean value can be found on the nautical chart. What is the mean value?

The declination is given as 0° 05'W 2010 (5'E).

How does one arrive at a declination of around 1° here? Theoretically, there would be no declination in 2011, and then 0° 5' E in 2012, or am I wrong?

Thanks in advance

Hi fffaaahhh,

if the failure with 0° 05’W 2010 (5’E) the failure in 2012 is indeed 0° 05′ E.

However, Missing in Task 8 on the map with 0°50’E 2010 (5’E) what to a Dismissal of 1° in 2012 lead. You seem to read the misjudgment in the wrong place.

Then how do you get a rejection of about 1°? Theoretically you have no one in 2011 and then in 2012 0° 5′ E or do I see it wrong?

That’s what I see.

The same solution is found in the questionnaire on another page

5’E?
