Stomach and intestinal problems in a hotel – what to do?
Hi.
We are on vacation with the children and now both of them have stomach problems and vomited everything.
The entire room is carpeted. We had a bucket ready, but it was completely missed. The entire floor and the bedding are full.
We stripped the bed and took everything out onto the balcony. We cleaned and soaped the floor as best we could.
Would you report it to reception right away or wait until tomorrow? We're all dead tired and just want to sleep.

Well, it’s a little late, but I would have just said that.
Thus, the staff has the chance to act directly and to prevent worse, e.g. to treat the floor directly with the right cleaners.
This would have taken you the trouble to do it yourself and it would definitely have happened to the right cleaners, if you could have just changed the room (sometimes offer it from cunning) so that the small ones can get in a clean one while yours are cleaned.
Especially if you no longer use the bed linen, there is also the risk of making more damage when the next round starts.
