Macbook with Intel processor?

Hello ,

I would like to get a laptop. Since I almost only use Apple, I would like to get a Macbook.
Apple has installed the M1-M4 chips in the MacBook, but has installed Intel processors in the slightly older MacBooks . That's why I wanted to ask if the processor

" Intel i3 – 1.1GHz" is sufficient for what I would do with the MacBook. I would use the MacBook exclusively for school-related work, such as presentations, research, etc., and then at some point for job applications.

I hope you can help me. 😀

Never Intel Mac! The m CPUs are so much better and probably won’t get any updates soon. Best regards

In itself, an Intel Core i3 1.1 GHz right has little performance, but depending on the generation, it can still be enough for school purposes

This is because each of the individual calculating cores has 1.1 GHz but this does not say how many calculating cores the processor has at all and that can theoretically be between 1 and 25 where you can definitely imagine the performance differences.

The MacBook has enough performance for school stuff in Jaden case. I would still not leave 10 programs open at the same time, but it is definitely good enough for what it is to do – even today and in the near future.
