I bought a monitor but can't connect it to my Mac (2015). If I connect it with a cable and then connect to the monitor's Wi-Fi (HDshare-5F2D), I can connect via AirPlay, but there's no sound or internet (because you have to stay connected to the HD Wi-Fi, otherwise everything shuts down). Can someone please tell me how to do this?

Sorry for the late answer! As you describe it, it sounds really annoying. Sometimes it helps to try the monitor with another cable or other connection. Also restarting the Mac completely could work miracles. If that still doesn’t work, you might try to use a third-party software like AirParrot. This allows you to stream even without this special WLAN, and it usually works better with sound and internet.
