m.2 adapter funktionieren nicht?

Hallo, ich habe mir zwei Adapter gekauft, einmal m.2 zu sata und einmal m.2 zu usb

https://www.ebay.de/itm/256243459384

https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005004611481630.html

Hello

These are adapters for M.2 SATA SSD’s. Only M.2 SATA B or B+M Key SSD’s work in it. M.2 PCIe M Key SSD’s are not supported in these adapters.

The 128GB M.2 NVMe Kingston RBU SN8154P3/128GJ SSD you have but is an M.2 PCIe 3.0 SSD, you are there:

I don’t know why the SSD has a B+M Key connection. Actually, there should be only one M.2 M key connection.

But look at the sticker that sticks on the SSD. PCI Express should be on it despite B+M Key connection.

You can thank Kingston for that.

No, that doesn’t mean it. B+M Key SSD’s fit in B Key and in M Key Slots, but in any case they need SATA support, even in an M Key Slot.

In B Key Slots, however, only SATA support is available. That’s why it doesn’t make sense to miss a M.2 PCIe SSD a B+M Key connection, as it also fits in B Key Slots, where only SATA support is available. There is no M.2 PCIe B+M Key SSD at all.

M.2 Slots:

  • A Key or E Key – PCIe for M.2 mini WLAN/Bluetooth Modules
  • B Key – M.2 SATA B Key or M.2 SATA B+M Key SSD’s
  • M Key – M.2 PCIe M Key SSD and M.2 SATA B+M Key SSD’s if, in addition to PCIe support, SATA support is also available in an M.2 M Key slot

M.2 SSDs:

  • B Key SSD’s need SATA support and fit only B Key Slots
  • B+M Key SSD’s require SATA support and fit in B Key and in M Key Slots, with an M Key Slot additionally having to be available SATA support, otherwise no B+M Key SATA SSD’s will be supported in an M.2 PCIe M Key Slot, but only M.2 PCIe M Key SSD’s
  • M Key SSD’s need PCIe support and fit only in M Key Slots
