Either the reception at your location is generally bad, or the 5g band is already overloaded.

There are some steps you can check to ensure that your LTE router switches to 5G:

  • Make sure your router supports 5G. Check the technical specifications or search for the device name with the addition “5G”.
  • Check if there is already 5G coverage in your region and whether your network provider is nearby.
  • Check tariff: Make sure your tariff supports 5G. Not all providers allow access to 5G.
  • Use this5G comparison calculatorto find the ideal fare.
  • Check the router settings:Go to your router’s settings and navigate to “Connect” and “Mobile Networks”.
  • Check the “Network Mode”. This should be set to “5G/4G/3G/2G” or “automatically connect”.For other options, the router uses only 2G to 4G1.

If no 5G icon is displayed, contact your network provider to receive further support. Maybe there are specific settings that need to be adjusted. 📶

Doofe demand. Your LTE router can basically be 5G?

Because LTE =4G and mobile 5G routers are rare and expensive.
