Lose weight to optimize performance?
I (male, 22 years old) weigh 76 kg and am 188 cm tall. I do endurance sports (cycling). Does it make sense to lose a few more kg (to about 70-72) to improve my performance (on climbs)?
If I have to eat 1400 calories to lose weight but I eat 2000 and then do 15k steps and burn 700 calories, will I still not lose weight because I will then only have 1300 calories left out of 2000? I hope you understand my question 😭
