Looking for a suitable battery, who can help?

Hello everyone. I purchased a cordless hedge trimmer and a matching cordless saw. Unfortunately, the required batteries weren't included. They're from Wolfgang Tools. I haven't really found what I'm looking for in my online research. Norma offers both 20-volt, 2-ampere and 4-ampere batteries. Perhaps you can give me a link or a detailed description of the battery. I'll attach a picture of the product.

Thank you

Greetings Stefan

Please pay close attention to the unit (Ah).

The capacity (~capacity) of the battery is Ah (ampere hour) .

Compare it with km (distance) and km/h (speed) is not the same.

And 4 Ah is twice as much (capacity) compared to 2 Ah.

(A comparison: 4 liters is twice as much as 2 liters).

Yes, you can use both 20V batteries. The 4 Ah battery has twice the capacity and a longer run time.

You also need a charger!

Here is the text for the charger describing all the possibilities:

Quote:

Charging Station – Wolfgang Whether you have a large or small collection of power tools, you can easily charge Wolfgang Tools' rechargeable battery packs with the charging plug (C-2005), the single (C-2015S), and the double (DC2024) charging station. The charging station's indicator light glows red when the battery is charging. Once the battery is fully charged, the indicator light turns green, and the charging station automatically stops charging. Additional information: – Input: 220-240 V ~ 50/60 Hz, 65 W – Output: 21 V DC 2.5 A – Rated voltage: 20 V DC – Weight: 400 g (without battery) – Dimensions: 10 x 7 x 13.5 cm (H x W x D) – Cable length: 180 cm – Charging time from 0% to 100%: 2.0 Ah approx. 48 minutes and 4.0 Ah approx. 96 minutes

Good luck!

Between 2 and 4 , only the current, i.e. A, is the difference at the same voltage.

You can take both, one will last longer than the other.

The current is not different – only the capacity/maximum charge!

There is a difference whether you have 10 Ah or 40 Ah.

Richtig – in der Ladung. Minimal vielleicht auch im Strom. Aber eher nebenher.

Just read the product description – it explicitly states that both types can be used.

Apart from that, this is clear anyway, since it is not the charging current [amperes] but the capacity [ampere hours/coulomb] that is specified.

With the 4Ah battery, you can use your device twice as long with the same power.
