With good care, the engines can already hold. However, the vehicles have been quite favorable for many years, which is why most of the young people and starters were heated.

The engine is relatively sensitive if it has not been taken care of well, and there are the typical problems with the sealing strips. Repairs are expensive and like to be pushed. There are not so many people who know each other with the Wankelmotor.

Is it worth buying a Mazda rx 8?

Depends on the reason you’d want to buy one. In general, the driving performances are nothing special today and the running costs are comparatively high. The gasoline consumption is quite high, it needs quite a lot of oil, repairs are expensive etc.

If you buy a car as a lover, don’t save on purchase and are willing to invest a lot of money in the maintenance and care of a cheap car, you can buy an RX8. If you just want a cut 200+ hp car you can heat, there are better alternatives.

Wankelmotors from Mazda are more casual than many say. 200,000km are loose in good care.

Then it will be expensive to exchange the seals. In addition, the car is in maintenance right expensive. High fuel consumption and oil consumption etc.

I’d tell you about buying. However, if you are very reliable engines, you need to know about Wankel engines. If you are driven differently in the cold state also the normal tanking is not enough for this car you always need 2stroke oil at each tanking. Oh and by the way with a tank filling you just come 250-300 Km
