Is a Yamaha Tenere 700 only worth it for the road?

Hello, I'm currently a supermoto rider, so I ride a 125cc Fantic. I'm faced with the big question of whether to buy a Kam Smart 690 or the Yamaha Tenere 700. I ride 95 percent of the time on the road, and I was actually going for the supermoto, but I've been told that the Tenere can keep up with the 690 on the road, even with good tires. I'm wondering which I should get. I'd be grateful for any help. Regards.

That in my eyes is two questions. Yes a tenere 700 is also worth the road. 90% of all sold will not see more than the road and at most a gravel road.

The other question is:

but I was told that the tenere can also with good tires on the road with the 690

And I have to say no. At least when it comes to more than just driving straight ahead. The KTM is about 45 kg lighter, which is not only worlds in the class, but almost galaxies. The KTM is significantly more agile, which shows more or less of Vortei depending on the distance. Fun are both, no question, but the KTM is the much more sporty motorcycle.

Here it is more a question of taste what you are looking for. The KTM is more sporty, the tenere is more everyday and also suitable for longer distances. The 690s is a cam heater and nothing to do with, so that it is necessary to take longer distances. So it’s more a question what you’re looking for. A fun machine or a machine with which you can do a little more.

Well, if you’re both comfortable on the road, that’s not a problem. The driver makes the difference, not the motorcycle. The level difference in public road traffic is so high that a good rider on a curvy track would mercilessly attract 95% of all motorcyclists with a 125 2-stroke. Whatever motorcycle they have.

In a direct comparison, the Yamaha is much more unsportable than the KTM.
