Is it worth repairing my monitor IF it could be repaired?

This is my monitor:

My monitor has been broken since today. Apparently, the backlight LED is broken.

Only a small area on the right is still working, where the colors are still vibrant. The rest has a gray haze, looks dull, and the top and bottom right corners are quite dark. It looks something like this, but with softer edges:

Can something like this be repaired, how much does it cost, and is it even worth it?

If not: Which inexpensive monitor, maximum €250, would you recommend that's at least 27" and ideally can be purchased at Saturn? Alternatively, I could get one on eBay for a bit less.
