Living room window full of mini insects, what now?

Hi, I'm really shocked. For a few days now, we've had tiny, flying bugs on our window. We've cleaned everywhere, even under the couch. We still have wood for the fireplace in the living room. Could there have been eggs there that were just hatched? Oh, and I was shocked because there were so many everywhere on the window and floor this morning. Where did they come from? We leave all the windows closed because of this. Have you ever had the same problem? If so, I'd appreciate any tips.

Unfortunately, the picture is not really good and meaningful.

One could suspect one of the big bacon beetle family, but I don't like a lot, including the thicker and longer legs.

My guess – would fit the firewood:

The Colorful Ash Based Beetle Hylesinus fraxini = Leperisinus varius/fraxini)

that slips right now, and that of wood, preferably ash.

The new generation appears in July and August. Often the animals occur in large numbers.

Dissatisfied, but no pests in the household.

You're welcome – and don't panic, they don't put anything in the house. πŸ˜‰

Was my pleasure – and great, just the wood it was. πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ˜‰
