Liqui Moly engine flush, does it really work?
Hello folks,
I have to flush the engine of my Audi Q5 2011 TFSI with Liqui Moly because it has a slightly increased oil consumption.
Is it worth a try or are there other "cheaper" ways to reduce oil consumption?
You don’t stand alone with your problem….
Some of the engine’s identical constructions are quite 2.5 litres of oil to 1,000 kilometers…..
The reason is coked pistons and they are produced by worn oil scraping rings.
Whether this is the case with your car, you can only see if you pull the pistons but it is noticeable that so many drivers complain about oil consumption.
In particular, the years 2008 to 2011 are affected, because after that Audi has improved….
Even in repairs, only the “better” components are used.
It may be that a short-term improvement occurs due to flushing, but you do not have any new components.

The cause is coked piston rings, because probably does not help flushing. Oil change with good oil
