Limit at the bank?
If you have a daily limit of €1000 and want to spend more, will it be rejected at the checkout?
I have a daily limit of €1,000. Yesterday I bought something for €900 (paid with my debit card) and then ordered something else for about €600 and paid via PayPal. Everything went smoothly; these amounts are now listed in my online banking account under "Transactions" (as always). Is it possible that the bank will subsequently reject these payments, or is everything fine now and I don't need to worry?
Are debit card payments and online orders the same thing? Or can you, for example, go shopping outside for €1,000 and order online for €1,000? Do you see what I mean?
If it is debited the same day, it will be rejected directly.
Paypal usually only booked the next day, so this is not a problem in the case.
Daily limit affects payouts and debits on the day.
Your order via Paypal will only be booked a few days later from the account, which is no problem.
But if you were to go shopping in the grocery store, who would, if necessary, book immediately, the payment would be rejected.
But both things are now on the line.
Yes, this is directly rejected at the checkout even if you’re just a cent over it.
