Lifespan of plants?

Hey! I hope this isn't too stupid a question. I've decided to plant a small "garden" on my roof terrace this year. However, I know very little about plants and need to learn more about the topic.

Today I bought two honeyberry bushes(?) and am wondering how long they will last. How exactly do I search for plant lifespans online? Is it like flowers (I know there are annuals and perennials) or like trees?

I hope you understand my question!

Thanks for all the answers!

Fruit shrubs can become quite 10 to 20 years old when properly cultivated.

From my currants I regularly cut off plugs and then make new ones, you might also be able to use the honeyberry.

I happen to read that answer. Our rhubarb has been in the same place for 64 years.
