I desperately need a second Apple charger for my iPhone 14. At Apple, or even at Media Markt, if you buy the charger from Apple, it's already around €40. I could also buy one from another company, which would be much cheaper, of course. What would you recommend? Would you prefer the original?

Don’t have to be original. But I’d make sure it’s MFi-certified. Otherwise, you might get the message from iPhone that unsupported accessories were connected.
