Swap RTX 3080 for an RX7800XT?
Hello Tech User, I currently have a swap advert running on the classifieds. It is for an NH RTX 3080 Vision OC, which is currently in use and installed in my little brother's PC. A guy previously offered me his brand new RX 7800XT Sapphire. Would that be a good swap?

Low fps with good hardware?

Hello, I have the feeling that something is wrong with my PC. I upgraded my graphics card from a GTX 1050 Ti to a 4070 Ti Super and I feel like I don't have enough fps. For example, in The Forest, my cousin with a 3070 had 150 fps, and I only had 70-80, which…
Depends on what you do. Nvidia has super technologies like DLSS. This relieves the card, which is good if you take extra.
But the price is also important. If you have the choice for the same price and the AMD card has more VRAM, then take AMD.
At the moment, have a 4060 and am struggling to see if an AMD graphics card makes more sense in the price class.
The 4060 is not very great either. According to benchmarks quite the same with the 3060ti.
4070 is ach better, and still liveable. 4080 is excellent but too expensive. 4090 doesn’t need a normal person.
At AMD I am too badly informed
So on my PC I had Nvidia and AMD cards, and I didn’t notice any difference from recording under OBS.
When it comes to easy office application recording (e.g. for Libre Office Tutorial Videos) then you will have no problems with today’s onboard graphics card.
For game recording, it depends on what games you want to record and how much performance your graphics card has. And that doesn’t matter whether it’s Nvidia or AMD.
What gives better performance is bought or Recommended.
On the driver side, I had much worse experiences with Nvidia.
Does it mean that now I don’t recommend Nvidia cards? No.
Currently cheaper with more VRAM
