Glowsticks Miku Expo 2024?
Hello everyone! I'm planning on going to a Hatsune Miku concert for the first time this year, specifically the Miku Expo 2024 in Düsseldorf. It's very common at Miku concerts to have glow sticks , especially in the Vocaloid colors. Which brings me to my question: where do you get them? There's nothing about them on the booking websites—more info on that later, after all, it's the first day tickets go on sale.
I would especially like to get answers from those who have already been to Miku concerts.
Thank you so much! 🙂 ❤️
Sell them there, but are usually sold out quickly.
Many also bring their own with previous events.
Thank you very much!
Can I also ask when you should come early? Usually I come to events half an hour, but Hatsune Miku fans are so crassed that I am sure you should come several hours earlier.
VIP’s come in first. So they can buy the penlights there first.
Otherwise as early as possible.
And thank you again for giving up! 🙂
Sometimes they are sold online beforehand. But only one month or two before.
Thank you. I booked the normal tickets now, so I’ll see.
There is usually a Merch stand on site where you can buy gold sticks for about 35€ per piece. However, there is only a limited mege that is sold out quickly.
Fortunately, MikuExpo also offers an online shop for Merch & Glowsticks, which opens a few weeks before the start of the tour. (The ordered goods should therefore arrive on time for the tour start). More detailed information about this is not yet known. This usually runs through a third-party provider. It is recommended to observe the official social media channels of the MikuExpo (before all Twitter). Here, too, the stock is limited, which is why you should act quickly.
I recommend buying the Glowstick online to make sure you actually get one. Besides, you have more time at the concert and don’t have to spend time standing at the Merch stand.
In addition, Miku concerts allow Glowstick’s past Miku concerts to bring with them (Magical Mirai, past MikuExpo etc). So there are many people who already have Glowsticks. It is important to note that the Glowsticks are not allowed by other non-Miku concerts (e.g. by K/J- Pop concerts), as these are brighter than the Miku-Glowsticks, and thus could mirror themselves in the screen (who the Vicaloids are to be seen) which is rather unsightly.
