Letters end up with my grandma?

Hello,

My grandma and I have the same last name. Even though the mailbox says D. (Last Name), my grandma with R. (Last Name) gets all the letters because her name is further to the left and mine is almost at the very back right. So the mail people always throw the letters directly to my grandma. What can I do about that? I've already made my name extra bold, but it doesn't seem to help…

Not only use the brunt, but make the full name for both. To this end, indicate to the supplier. Either by a sign in the mailbox at your grandma, or directly address the delivery agent (will be hard)

Check the delivery and indicate. What also works very well to send a letter by post to the postal directorate and to point out the permanent misalignment. But the direct address is much better.

Maybe you just hang a note on your grandma's box.
"Please pay attention to the first name and use the correct mailbox"

You can complain to the post office. Or you also write your first name to the mailbox.

Well, what did the questioner do?

Not "D.", but "Daniel Mustermann."

What is he supposed to complain about?

The letter carrier should look where he's throwing something.

I always notice when "my" letter carrier isn't here. Then I'll get my neighbor's mail because he throws everything in a mailbox. And mine is somehow the one that is best suited for it.

I refer to the question above. The last name and address agree. So there is no reason to complain.
