Steering of skateboard very different than that of pennyboard?
Hi, I have a penny board at home, but I wanted to start practicing tricks, at the skate park, etc. So I've been thinking about buying a skateboard. I'm pretty comfortable with the steering on my penny board, and now my question is: Is the steering on a skateboard much different?
Thank you in advance ಡ ͜ ʖ ಡ
Heyho!
The basic principle of steering is the same.
The skateboard has, of course, other specs, somewhat wider axes, a larger wheelbase, and possibly steering rubbers in another hard. So it won’t be the same.
anyway, this is not a problem, I have at the moment with all my long and skateboards 7 different boards that I regularly drive, that doesn’t mess with you, and you don’t have to reconcile each time.
Well a pennyboard is already more to cruise and has a very soft steering with which you can drive relatively good curves
A standard skateboard is harder because direction change is often not performed by “normal steering”
