Slight pressure pain after the first root canal treatment?

Hello, I had my first root canal appointment last week and my second in three weeks. The tooth being treated is tooth 21 (the front tooth). Is it normal to still feel some pressure pain even after a week? I hardly notice it when eating. But as soon as I apply a little more pressure (unintentionally), I feel a certain pressure all the way to the root tip. It lasts maybe 10 seconds and then goes away. Is this generally normal and not a reason to see the dentist again beforehand?
