Leave your motorcycle in the sun?

I'd like to ride my motorcycle to school for the first time tomorrow. It's about 30 degrees Celsius right now, and I have school on Mondays at lunchtime. Would it hurt the motorcycle if it stood in the blazing sun from 7 am to about 4 pm? I'm worried it might not start or something.

It shouldn't touch the motorcycle. Previously learned not to expose the tank to the brim sun, but otherwise it should not be a problem. In the long run, the seat, rubbers and plastics could become brittle.

What happens when you're on your bike all day with the sun? Then it's exposed to the sun, isn't it?

It doesn't matter to the motorcycle.
