Leasing or financing (home office)?

Hi,

I still have a car (car subscription) until the end of August. But after that, I'll need a vehicle again.

I actually wanted to lease this time, but I was advised that financing would be a better option, since I don't drive much because I work from home (still about 10k per year) and I would have less depreciation and could still sell the car at any time.

The only disadvantage is that I can't make an advance payment > more interest.

What is your opinion?

Suggestions for cars up to 25k and from 150hp / automatic?

Thank you very much!

I mean, if you don't care about the car, you can always find good leasing deals on Mydealz, for example, where the prices are €100 or less.
They usually cost somewhere between €100-200 per month. However, there are always some gems among them (transfer costs must be paid, of course).
Yes, financing offers more flexibility, but it also carries the risk of depreciation. If the car suddenly loses its value by 10,000 for whatever reason, you're stuck with the "loss." You don't have that problem with leasing, provided the depreciation isn't due to an accident or damage to the car itself.
