Leasing e-bike residual value after 1 year?

Hello,

A year ago I got a leasing e-bike (business bike) from my employer.

The company is now in insolvency proceedings. I'll most likely have the option to buy the e-bike outright. The purchase price was €3,250.

Leasing rate 107 euros (gross)

Net charge approx. 50-60 euros

Lease start: May 24, 2022

How is the residual value calculated if I were to buy it now?

I just want to know the approximate amount right now. I know I can get the BusinessBike offer, but that will take some time.

Best regards

It’ll be hard. I have only heard in the forum that there are difficulties in termination by the employer or zero short work.

Now the employer is insolvent. A further payment of the leasing rates is not possible.

Theoretically a pedelec is written off for 7 years. Then you have to talk to the insolvency administrator and the leasing provider.

Takeover after 3 years normally to 40% residual value. This is what the tax office demands. The leasing companies then sponsor the residual value of up to 25% so that a takeover for 15-18% is possible.

3250 100% at 0 years

1 year – 14.5% depreciation

2795 €.

Then you already paid 1 year ago with 1373 €

Perhaps 1877 or between the accountable value & your already paid gross performance (incl. VAT)

However, since the employer can deduct the pre-tax with the 19%, the residual value may be higher because you have to pay the tax privately & cannot counter this.

This would be last bookings with account 1880 + pre-tax to account 8924

As I said, we had a case with regard to this. Repayment at zero short work etc of the employee. Insolvency of the employer becomes difficult
