Learning by doing? Do you know someone who has a board? Let's see how it works. And then get the feeling. I don't think everyone can do pieces of art – let alone keep the balance. That's why you should try it before. And if it is you, buy one – a used one for the beginning, maybe.

You can still watch YouTube. It's not forbidden.

Well, both.

Skating is mainly learning by doing. But if you don't get any further, Youtube can help you explain the one or the other trick.

Look at the local youth center whether there is skate cure or whether there is a course in the summer holidays where you can learn it. Or you ask others where you know they can skate if they can teach you, or if they can recommend someone who has brought it to you. YouTube is the last option

What about primary school courses. Otherwise just drive to the next youth center or appeal to people you see skate

For safe normal driving I needed 1 month then, then I started with the first tricks and since you drive so much while practicing you will be much safer on the board anyway, then at some point it's just like walking.

But you have to learn first of all with the balance and so on. Tricks can be learned by Vidios or other skaters who you ask how they do that

These courses you're talking about teach you driving, no more. Usually you want to learn tricks etc., it takes several years depending on how good you want to be.
