Learn graphic design yourself?

Is it possible to learn this online and possibly start my own business someday? As far as I understand, it's not a "recognized" apprenticeship anyway. If I have enough knowledge and have projects to show for it, can I start my own business? Only theoretically; that's still a long way off, if at all 😉

Sura.

But it's hard. Learning design is a long process. I studied this for several years and gained Bachelor and Master.

Unfortunately, many think that "design" is a universal term that can already be applied if you make something visually together.

You would definitely be one of the exceptions I know if you would learn actual design even without training at the same level.

In theory.

What I can recommend is the book "Looking good in Print", which is still a current standard work for the "Handwerk" of the graphic designer. In any case, this has helped me very much for autodidactic further education.

You can always do it yourself. No matter how your knowledge is.

Doesn't mean that you earn halfway enough money with it, but you can learn a lot on the Internet and then sell your own designs
