Will the PC only run well with a good graphics card or do I also need to upgrade the RAM and such?
I have a crappy PC with a GTX 660, and since it takes at least 2-5 minutes to load each time, I want to get a new graphics card. If I get a 4060, will my PC run smoothly, or could it overheat due to bad fans or other substandard components?
I also suspect the hard drive, CPU and RAM are heavily outdated.
Therefore, there would hardly be a difference with Ner’s new graphics card.

It is possible
Depends on the airflow in your PC.
Ram Can Never Damage, I guess at least 16GB ram, I myself have 64GB available.
If, however, the CPU is also ancient, it will of course come to a Krassen Bottleneck
Hello,
This is probably not the problem. Rather processor, memory and mass storage.
An excessively weak graphics card is particularly noticeable during gaming.

The other components are also important. If there’s another HDD in it, it’s gonna be a fault. Best regards
The GTX660 was launched over 10 years ago. If the rest of the PC is as old, you should save the money for a new graphics card but instead create a new PC.
