LATITUDE E7450: internal webcam not found!?

Dell Support Assist doesn't have a separate test option for the camera. All USB ports are reported as OK. In Device Manager, the camera doesn't appear under either Imaging Devices or Camera! However, the integrated microphone works (strangely). Aside from MS Defender, there's no separate security software. The camera isn't detected or reinstalled during a cold or warm reboot. Error code 0xA00F4… remains persistent.
There are hardware tests that can be triggered before starting. When P is turned on or something like that. Ask Dell Chat.
Hello, yes, there is actually the pre-boot system “ePSA”: “All tests passed” No extra point for the webcam under “Configuration” … Microphone Camera Board Option = Installed
