Laptop and train
I just got an old laptop. Unfortunately, the battery doesn't last very long. I'm taking a train in a few days. If I'm lucky, it will have outlets with a maximum of 90V. But this laptop only works with 100-240V. What happens if I plug it in anyway?
The German power grid has a voltage of 230V. In other European countries it is also 220-230V. It will also be in every train that runs through Europe. What you mean is not the voltage, but the power measured in Watt instead of Volt. It could actually be limited to 90W. But don’t worry, laptops have a maximum of 65W power supplies, so it’ll work loosely.
Thanks for this helpful answer 🙂
Then the train gets a power failure and gets rid of it!
