Laptop Speicherplatz erweitern?

Leute

Ich möchte den Speicherplatz meines Laptops erweitern, da ich viele Videos darauf bearbeite, hier sind einige Daten meines Laptops:

  • Intel® Pentium® Gold 4417U Processor
  • Intel® HD Graphics
  • 8 GB DDR4 Memory
  • 128 GB SSD + 1000 GB HDD

Danke!

a real SSD is not a small chip on the side of the laptop, which is probably a USB stick you talk about.

SSD’s are normally not manufacturer-specific, but all follow the SATA standard, laptops often have a free slot to expand, but you should know your laptop model.

More than 128GB would have to be possible. To check where the whole store is going I recommend https://windirstat.net/ that visually shows how much memory of what is created.

Actually, your laptop is so aged especially for video editing since I would recommend you to buy a more recent laptop from Ebay. You get them too cheap and normally all come with 512GB SSD’s if not anymore. To do this, you will increase your ram to DDR4 and 16GB and your CPU.

Look that you probably have 110k on your depot you wouldn’t hurt if you take 300€ in the hand and buy you a used Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen 7+:P

Without the type of laptop, you can’t say that the SSD is installed like a small hard drive (HDD) inside, which can be used for larger exchanges, your memory may be extended, but it comes to the motherboard, possibly new modules must be built in.

Do you need permanently access to the data, or would also go to an external disk that can connect via USB and put it on the shelf if you don’t need the data

SSD is one as you see it on the pictures 2.5″ large piece “metal” you put in your laptop. The small outside are USB sticks mostly with relatively small size. ICh would get rid of an external SSD, replace the current SSD, or if you still burst in the laptop have another SSD to buy

Ahja and every SSD fits into your laptop. Bzw Each SSD adapts to a SATA port

If your CPU is loaded, you probably need to swap the entire laptop. There are rarely Laptobs where you can replace the CPU.
And the SSD will be displayed when you open File Explorer and go to this PC as a third drawer medium in your case
