Laptop for computer science studies?

Hello, I'm about to start studying computer science and want to buy a laptop. I want everything to run smoothly, including things like Visual Studio, Eclipse, Android Studio, etc.

I might also buy a monitor so I have two screens at home. I definitely want 16GB of RAM. Now the question is, what kind of CPU would be suitable?

12GB will be difficult. Common values in stores are 8, 16, and 32.

16 is fine. 8 would be too little, especially if you plan on using Windows.
