Language for elves?

Hey, I'm currently writing a story about a parallel world inhabited by elves, among others. However, there are supposed to be some elves who speak a magical or other language with certain creatures. Should I invent this from scratch or just use an existing language that isn't German or English (like Serbian or something)?

Tolkiens also had their own languages for the magical creatures. Maybe you can use it. Otherwise, a more unknown but still available language is probably advantageous

There are over 4000 languages in the world. Just take one of the more unknown.

Or you make it as creative as the creators of Dragonball and just let them speak words backwards. πŸ˜‚

Don’t break down and just write. What the Elves say, you can first mark with Xxxx. Nobody understands. When you’re done with everything, you’re smarter and found the solution by the way.

Fortunately, you can now search and replace Xxxx with a text program.

Serbian elves? We’d be with an elf state called Kosovo? It makes you famous, believe me.
