Long-distance vehicles for €10,000?
Hello! I'm looking for a used long-distance vehicle (approx. 100km of highway daily) for around €10,000.
I'm still quite young (24-30) and I prefer elegant or simple style to sporty design.
I'm currently leaning towards the 2009 Mercedes E-Class 200/220 CDI. With proper maintenance, they can probably do up to 600,000 km, which sounds promising. For €10,000, you can also find some in good condition with around 180,000 mileage.
What alternatives are there? The important thing is: automatic transmission! And not anything too old (yes, that's subjective). (By that, I mean anything before 2005, if not even 2008.)
Best regards
It’ll be gambling. Each seller can claim that he has traveled 100km on the highway by car daily.
Misunderstanding: I want to drive so much every day.
Oh. How does this affect the choice of the car? Every day you can drive 100km over the highway.
I thought there were certain criteria that would be more advantageous for long-distance use. Maybe there are models that can be driven better on the highway than in urban traffic. And there are probably cars that last longer than others. After all, there are many kilometers together.
If you drive so much, I’d buy a new car. Then you have the full running performance.
As a business car, the Skoda was attractive some time ago. I mean it was the Octavia, but I’m not sure.
For the money crawled 5 e46 320d…
This has much longer fun than with an e-class. Although the motors are able to perform the running performance, the bodies are often rusty.

Look again at autoscout or mobile for your price class. Popular long distance vehicles are kombi or vans. You can also feel comfortable as a long-distance vehicle
What do you think of a VW Pheaton? Best with 3.0 TDI. Beautiful elegant sedan.
Toyota Camry!
I recommend the 3 or 5 BMW
