Langsames internet mit dlan/powerline, alternativen?
Hallo,
-Not slow internet – it doesn’t matter if your computer has a connection at all.
Slow network connection! In Powerline/DLAN, this is due to the fact that the power lines are not intended for data transfer and that every badly undisturbed electrical device on the phases used just does exactly what -> interrupts the signal. In addition, there is the problem that DLAN should function over several phases, but without phase couplers in the home installation (which are to be installed by an electrician), the whole will ultimately become more of a gambling game.
LAN. A clever network cable can be replaced by nothing.
thank you for your answer so that you can confirm what I have already said
I have a similar problem. My new colleague in the WG will now either have to plug a WLAN stick or use a LAN cable. The router had also failed. Thanks!!!!
Hey,
what you describe is a good example of how much local conditions can affect the home network.
And as you have already read correctly and even suspected, LAN is the best solution here.
You could still try with Mesh Repeaters and see if the signal can be better expanded. At the home network you can always study about taste, because each home is designed and set up individually.
I hope this will help you a little further.
Great success and greetings

Hello.
If Wi-Fi and DLAN are not satisfactory, you can hardly get past a cabling. For example, you can also move them outside the house if you take flat cables for the windows.

Then you’ll get to the upper floor and you could look again by DLAN from there.
However, it is also important for DLAN to take appropriate cables from the router and PC to the modules. These should be at least Cat 6 or higher. Also, different socket combinations can make a huge difference.
I had DLAN in my old apartment. If I had the module down in the outlet right next to the router and in the office right next to the computer, only 50 Mbit arrived. After I then tried several combinations, I got at the best almost 400 Mbit.

Maybe I just get you wrong, but if you mean the LAN cables, I also tested them and they were definitely not the bottleneck. I also tested the outlets and there were only slight differences
Then only the direct connection by means of LAN remains.
thank you for your answer, then I guess I don’t have any other left
Lan cable transfer would be the right option if you don’t want to have any problems.
Yes, I see as the last option. It’s only visually beautiful
Depends on how much work you want to do with it. If you do it right, you don’t see it.
Flat ribbon cable. DAs are LAN cables but only flat. Just laying.
Why time and again lay a LAN cable.
All the others would be to use several GUTE (and I mean at least really good) mesh repeaters.
