Can you legally replace clutch and brake levers?

Hello everyone, I bought a Fantic Performance 125cc and wanted to make a few technical modifications. As mentioned, I wanted to change the brake and clutch levers.

1.Unfortunately, I am not sure whether the lever has to be registered exactly for the model.

2.Which levers are legal and can be registered? I don't have a TÜV inspection yet.

Perhaps you can recommend a lever that's also adjustable in width so I can shift gears with just two fingers. Thank you for reading, and thanks in advance.

LG Nick

Yes, they must. Bzw ABE. This is a safety-relevant component. For health reasons, I would use only authorized or co-ordinated levers.

It is only the brake lever that must have an operating permit or an ABE.

But there are Bikshops who like to pick and order the appropriate set.

Both levers are then included in the set, but you only need an ABE for the brake lever.

Wish good health and happiness, always good ride

Servus Nick,

among others here the corresponding components you are looking for.

MoteaPoloLouis” and “FC Moto” offer sufficient selection.
