To whom is the notice of termination addressed?

Hello,

I've been working a part-time job for two years and now, due to a lack of time, I want to quit. I work at a Rewe supermarket, which is run by a self-employed person. However, my employment contract lists Rewe as the employer. I know that personnel matters also go through the HR department. Can I simply use "Dear Sir or Madam" as a salutation, or should I address the managing director as "Dear…"? Within the company, we also use the informal "du" form, so I'm having trouble finding a suitable salutation.

Thank you in advance for your reply!

Officially write the termination to the HR department if you like to include a name and I would also name the independent branch manager. Since it is an official document, it must be written appropriately, no matter how easy it is.

Hello,

I think it doesn’t matter at the end.

Who hired you? Your employer, he’s a branch manager there. or is this a franchise company, then it works on its own account, and there is also its address, signature

If you worked there for two years, you should know the manager. You send the written notice to him.

You have nothing to justify.
