Cumulative distribution?

What does i mean in the cumulative distribution and what is the difference between k and i, why does it sometimes appear in the brackets after the symbol B(n,p,i) and sometimes B(n,p,k)?

I don’t know. You can name the variable as you like. In this case, the order counts.
