Does he care about me too much?
Good day
I'm currently completing a course (it runs until the beginning of May) and have a lecturer here (in his early 30s, I'm 25) whom I already know from a previous course. He's always extremely concerned – especially about me. For example, I was tired one day, and of course he immediately asked if everything was okay.
He's always keeping an eye on me, too. For example, I'm one of the quiet ones in the class, and if I do say something to someone else, he always intervenes or at least keeps an eye on me, as if he has to look after me.
At some point he said he thought I was insecure when we talked.
Does that possibly play a role? Probably! But isn't his "concern" going a bit too far, or should I just be happy that he cares about me so much?
If it bothers you, I would appeal
Well, on the one hand, it’s kind of flattering… because most of the others just rattle and finish their learning stuff. He wouldn’t notice that.
I had that similar to myself, but I think it’s bad or so long as it doesn’t cross borders.
