Credit cards are good?
Hi, I've booked my trip to Japan and would like to apply for a credit card. I wanted to apply for one, but I'm reading things in the fine print that are either really rubbish or that I may have simply misunderstood.
For example, at TF Bank. It says you have to pay back immediately once you've paid something. With interest, and if you don't, there will be serious consequences. I don't understand that. Besides, it doesn't seem to have anything to do with my savings bank account.
Am I misunderstanding this? I don't know much about credit cards, unfortunately. Would you recommend one?

Best wishes ❤️
There is definitely to be advised abroad, credit cards can be used well for hotels, caravans or similar.
But yes, it’s always kind of connected to cost if that’s what your bank has to look like. Some say that if you’re still at a certain age it may cost nothing, sometimes then 300€ a year. You have to look.
If you want something directly connected to your savings bank then go to your savings bank, but may not be the cheapest product.
If you don’t want daily compensation, you don’t want debit.
If you don’t want to balance yourself, you don’t want to revolve. You often have to pay actively because a partial compensation (and pay interest) is an option.
Otherwise, it makes sense to look at the ne travel credit card has no or little cost for numbers and cash withdrawal in foreign currency.
There are comparative pages that tell you which BAnk which KArte offer with what condition if you do not want to search manually.
I wouldn’t go to a credit card because you have fees. Since June 2023, my bank card has been fulfilling the same function by the savings bank. I can use it worldwide.
There is no credit card. Banks lay down the conditions. This also includes what is Kostet or Free.
I really don’t care.
That’s what I wrote that the savings cards have a credit card function and that this is not the same. 🤷 And I didn’t have any problems with it either.
No, that’s not the same. The savings cards now also have a credit card function. However, these types of cards are not recognized on site (even in non-European countries). Some of our customers already had massive problems with this. The classic credit card is therefore always the safe bank.
You can’t. They don’t issue cards directly. We should stay with those who are there and do nothing.

You seem to have a debit.
For the debit, the bank defines conditions as well as for each batch or revolving.
The conditions do not have to be the same, the cards are different in terms of function, but this is nothing else from the principle.
I don’t change my mind, you just understand something else. If I am with Visa or Mastercard direct order a credit card, then want to have these fees and everything runs completely different than if I simply mean Sparkassenkarte the now also Credit card number since June 2023, use. You understand? That’s not the same.
Just because your bank charges for debit or credit Mastercard and Visa does not make any bank.
Whether the customer has fees for payments abroad, cash withdrawal in foreign currency, as an annual or monthly fee, the bank determines the Visa or MAstercard issue. There is no standard fee for the customer only because Mastercard or Visa is on the KArte.
And could you decide if you’re free or not? With each comment, you change your opinion whether your card is cost-free or not.
Because Mastercard and Visa wanted to have such fees directly. I don’t see my savings card as a credit card, just because there’s a credit card number on it.
You just wrote:
If you have a free credit card, why don’t you say you wouldn’t take any fees?
As is the case, Bank sets the fees. So the ability to be 0.
