Credit card keeps getting blocked – what to do?
Last month, my credit card was simply canceled. Without warning or prior inquiry. Apparently, this is normal.
I then called, and they said it was because they'd seen a strange transaction for $100. This transaction has been happening every three months for about four years. They've only just noticed it. I then told them it was me and it was fine. They didn't care.
Now my new card has been blocked again, probably because of the same transaction.
But I would like to continue ordering there.
What can I do?
Thanks!
Change providers. I’ve never had problems with my card so far. Even with foreign payments, everything was always good.
With me so far. I bought a lot from abroad and this transaction will run automatically every 3 months. And that’s been for a few years and suddenly it’s not happening anymore.
You can also specify PayPal when you pay, because then let it run.
Thank you.
Then I would have done that.
It doesn’t look like that, no.
It could be that the counter account is on a specific list.
I can’t imagine, but thank you.
If you call the credit card at the appropriate place, which says that the debit is OK, then they can actually unlock your card.
And if you tell them that this is coming regularly, they can add it to an OK list.
Anyway, it’s my bank.
I tried, but they just said, “That doesn’t matter, it doesn’t work.” Whatever it is.
Then you should think about a change if your bank does not offer any service.
It’s annoying when you get a new card every time.
I know this as described.
Thank you.
