Illness and toothbrush?
First of all: This question may make some people laugh, but it is important and I ask for normal answers to avoid any misunderstandings:
A good friend of mine played a stupid prank on his brother and put his toothbrush in the toilet, or rather, just in the toilet water. Afterward, he took it out and, according to him, "at least" disinfected it, rinsed it with hot water, and put it back. You can imagine what happened next: He brushed his teeth with it, and now my brother feels guilty that it could make him very sick (he's even thinking about cancer or stomach infections). So far, his brother hasn't had any problems; he's doing great. But the fear is still there, and he has no idea whether it's harmful or not. So my question: Is the fear justified or rather unnecessary?

He can’t get cancer. A stomach intestinal infection already.
Three days have passed. He’s got nothing so far. As I said, she was disinfected. Thank you for your answer

Nothing worse will happen.
The brother probably doesn’t even realize it.
I could still imagine that if the toilet was not properly cleaned, the bacteria can get abdominal pain. They should be gone after a few hours.
No, if he disinfected the boobs and dipped in boiling water, nothing can happen. – But let him think about it – even if something goes, – because then he hopefully read such a nonsense.
Hey,
that depends on the circumstances.
The toilet water is tap water, thus unobtrusive to drink when the toilet was not dirty.
Since he subsequently disinfected thermally/chemically, I think he shouldn’t worry about anything else, it was a stupid stroke that he knows now. The worst part is, however, the pure thought that the toothbrush was in the toilet.

The toilet wasn’t really dirty. He’s got her into the water
Cancer is certainly not obtained in this way. Gastric intestine probably not even yet. But he should have thought before, he shouldn’t be afraid.
Unnecessary
Reason? Thank you for your answer

In the intestine are bacteria, disinfectants are antibacterial = bacteria are dead.
