Kpop idol?
Hey, I'd like to register when I'm 16 to become an idol with BigHit Entertainment. I'll introduce myself briefly, that will help you with my questions. My name is Medina, I'm from Kosovo but I was born and raised in Germany. My parents were born in Kosovo. I have a twin sister and two younger brothers. I'm 14 when I'm younger and unfortunately I don't speak Korean yet, but I want to learn it. It's always been my dream to become a singer and dancer, which is why I'd like to become an idol. I'm very religious. My questions are: My name is Medina, what will it be like if I become an idol since I have an Islamic name, will that change? I'd like to become an idol when I'm 16, or rather just a trainee for now. Do I have to go to Korea myself to register? I've heard that you can register online. Do you book a ticket with Dan or do I have to do it myself? The question is, will I even be accepted as a foreigner? Seventeen has three members or so from America and they were accepted, or at least at the smaller one where le sserafim or seventeen
I think it’s nice that you want to do that. I have some concerns: You can’t decide so much yourself (e.g. what you want to wear or similar) and it’s a very heavy profession what you can do to Idols. But the positive is, you will probably be very happy when all cheer.
I’d try and see if it works. You can still stop (I believe). Because of your name, I wouldn’t worry so much, but I personally would change the name a bit, just because of privacy etc.
I hope you can realize your dreams.
For example, you could just start a band and make the Kpop style with others. Then you can decide what you want to share and what not.
Mega great but there you have to train hard and die, but you have to decide yourself and I find the brave thing you do that

I wouldn’t go to Korea, the K-Pop scene should be the total oppression. They can’t do anything private anymore. Only recently, a K-Pop singer was totally bullied just because she had a boyfriend.
You can also create a band in Europe, whether in Germany or Kosovo and make the K-pop style.
But in Kosovo no one has Islamic names, even though most of the Kosovo Albanians are Muslims, they have more or less Albanian or European names.
Dreams are allowed, but you have to think realistic. Foreigners and especially Western foreigners have lost quite little in the Kpop world. They’re just selling worse.
Since when can a parent join us?????
Sounds like a glittering world children’s dream. I doubt that something will come true.
You should look for a more realistic future perspective instead of running pink air locks.
Hiii
Because it’s your dream, you can try it.
So theoretically, this would be possible, then the company (so called entertainment aich) would imagine differently. It’s called “Stage Name.” It’s not your real name, but a real name is also released. The entertainment can’t completely change your sixteen name, that you have a new name to be your real name. You don’t even have the right to change your real name. BTS’s RM is in real namjoon. Many or some know how the Kpop Kdols are really called. But not every Kpop Idol has a stage name. Soyeon from (G)-Idle has retained her name
Unfortunately, I can’t help you with this, but this can certainly be answered by the expert Liliks if there are any prohibitions or bids 🙂
So it is possible that foreigners are accepted. Asians have higher chances to be accepted than non-Asian. East Asians have the greatest chance. But for example, Hanni comes from Australia and has Vietnamese roots, so she is not an East Asian. She was accepted under Hype Entertainment and is the 1st Vietnamese under the entertainment or label. And at Blackswan there are non-Asian members, so it was proved that it would be possible. Unfortunately, there are fewer opportunities. You need to sign up online first. To do this, you are looking for an entertainment, googlest “[name from Entertaimment] official Website” and go to Audition. Then you send a vocal/rap video and a dance video. It may take months to send you an email(you will also need to add your email). A Kpop Idol waited 1 year and almost forgotten it o-0. If you’re lucky, it can take weeks. If you don’t get it, they probably didn’t accept you. You must pay a ticket to Korea yourself, unfortunately. And you have to have/have passport yourself. You’re not going to fix that. Except you ask her after that, but they will only likely do it if they really, really, really want you. But usually they don’t do that. In some cases it was made:
Do you know A2K? This is a Survival Show created under JYP Entertainment. There can be non-asiate and Asian sign up for the Kpop Idol. I’m not sure, but I think they didn’t have to pay the ticket to Korea, but they did it because they talked about “who will get the ticket to Korea?”, so I’m safer than insecure. I still link to YT all episodes:

If you are accepted, you passed the 1st round and survived. The online audition is always the 1st round. There are a lot of participants and many have not done it in the 1st round. The best of the best are always chosen. It’s always a survival show. At the end, the final members, i.e. members, are selected. How many rounds there are, is different at each Survival Show
If you have any questions, you can send me a FA or send me a dm(direct message)💞
I hope that helped you
