Hi, I'm a Kpop fan myself, but actually only 1st and 2nd generation. My best friend also wants to get into Kpop and asked me, but I could only tell her about 1st and 2nd generation, as I already mentioned. Now I wanted to ask if you could tell me something about 3rd and 4th generation. Thanks 🙂

Hello everyone, I'm going on a school trip to Hamburg soon, and unfortunately, we're not going to the musical. And a few friends want to go to the musical on their own. Now the question is, what is the minimum age to go to the musical alone, and can I book someone under 18 alone?
At the moment, a lot of old songs are being messed up by overlaying unimaginative beats with a thin Auto-Tune voice. Sometimes just the melody. What are the worst "new" versions for you?

I mostly stand 3rd and 4th gen groups^^
So the basics would be that 3rd gen started around 2012 and 4th gen around 2018.
Some of the most famous groups I'd say for the 3rd generation are BTS, Blackpink, Twice, Exo, and Red Velvet. For the 4th generation, Stray Kids are Itzy, Ateez, Aespa, Iz*One, TXT, and now also Ive, Le Sserafim, and New Jeans!
Other than that, I don't think there are many general facts, except perhaps that during the 4th generation, the focus was increasingly on dance and choreography. The 3rd generation was more focused on vocals.
