Vodafone has nothing to do with the reception conditions of your own Wi-Fi network in your apartment. – Try to improve them by optimizing the location of the WLAN router and your computer.
If that’s not enough, you may have a so-called. Repeater Help. – It’s not free of charge
See e.g.: https://www.sparhandy.de/info/ratgeber/wlan-repeater?srsltid=AfmBOoqJrnmDBHBeWEIGqRvIFkQ8dkgiHfpWcmrbPIUJYJtuWoB8e9rq#site

Towards the download server, which user decides what data rate at the download gets.

Then you can read on the router what comes to the internet signal. To know which you have not helped the router color but a look at the back/lower. Or in the manual there is also the router address in it and how you read it out.

You can save the rental fees for the repeater. There are much better variants to distribute the signal,

Here is a list of very good data transfer, to leave the fingers of it.

1 Lan cable

is not beaten, Even the cheapest barbars have 2 grooves for cable guidance. Concrete floors have door grooves.

Must you high you can trick an LED band with motion detector. Or set perpendicular to the stairs long and a knife plant

2 Accesspoint

, can also be an old router, a repeater, which must then be set up. They’ll get the signal over a Lan cable and then give Wlan out.

3 MESH

4 Dlan.

an adapter becomes a single one! plugged near the router and then gets the signal via Lan cable from the router. He sends this into the power grid of the second or more adapters then give you, no matter what power outlet from the house, Wlan.

It doesn’t always work. (here it is at point 4) but that it is an ingenious variant. You should try. Order adapter online, you have right to return.

5 repeaters.

Since normal, even the simplest speedports of Deutsche Telekom (some came from the A&V 20€) make good 12/13 m, most of them is pointless money.

Repeaters are often referred to as Wlan amplifiers in sale. That makes KD have little idea of matter, of course. You can’t strengthen the Wlan. German routers send full Wlan strength. Repeaters set up a new Wlan network. But what is problematic with simple repeaters. You need to be far enough away to avoid disturbing each other (wlan hates Wlan) and close enough to get about 50% Wlan strength from the router.

The repeater must be perfectly placed, must stand so that it has direct “sight contact” to the router, not to any socket. Any lift to the dust wiper can screw this up.

You got an apartment. Then come from the neighbors around Wlan and then the repeater comes to it. There is less Wlan strength than without repeater.

Further sources of interference for the Wlan.

  • All other radio networks Wlan, Bluethoote, Babyfone, Alexa and her colleagues. Headphones without cable.
  • Microwaves
  • Steel ceilings
  • plasterboard,
  • Water pipes in the wall behind the router.
  • Walls, The Wlan mirror

Just call and ask or wait until he gets there, then you’ll know.

Since in principle the WLAN is not the responsibility of the provider, I would not expect it to be free.

they are not actually free.

but this should be in your user account of Vodafone, or an info should have come by email.

is the problem even with Wi-Fi? or is it the inet access itself? you can find out quickly when you log in to the router and read out the incoming speed and additionally make a speed test. some recognize WLAN problems.

If in DEINER personal living situation your Wi-Fi in the bedroom is not good enough, this is not even the problem on the part of Vodafone.

Whether this is free for YOU, you have to ask. According to the page, the Vodafone own amplifier costs 2.99€ a month.

A Wi-Fi amplifier that does not actually enhance anything, but only increases the range of WLAN will certainly not suddenly make better internet from bad internet.

And such a device will not be given away, but rented.
