Costs for importing from China to Germany?

Hello,

I wanted to import shoes from China to Germany. Is it true that, in addition to the sales tax (19%), an additional 17% tax on shoes is due upon import?

Can I deduct this somehow in Germany, otherwise it's 36% plus insurance and shipping?

Are there any additional costs?

Best regards

The rate of duty is determined by the customs tariff number. In shoes the details play a role, so whether leather etc. Shoes are quite complex.

In addition to import sales tax, the duty rate for goods x on comes – on footwear this is around the 6-8% (it gives eternal long list to check)

No, you can’t do that, it’s wanted to pay these duties

(safety only): The import of plagiarism is prohibited if this should be behind the shoe…then it will be much more expensive)

The turnover tax and the duty apply.
Inch but only from 150€ value including shipping.
The turnover tax is the usual 19%

Of course you pay customs/import fees, taxes etc.

Of course, if you want to compare the price, you need to calculate the surcharges, usually the import is no longer worth it.
