If you have accepted the South Korean citizenship and gave the Germans for it, you are legally like any other South Korean. If you were German before and if you still have family there, you don’t care, then you have the same visa regulations for Germany as other South Koreans.

So yes, it becomes more complicated than when a German arrives in Germany.

You’ll check the rules and apply for visas like all other Koreans. But I think the South Korea (which we think I’m talking about?) should have little problem

If you have no more German citizenship, you may need a visa to enter the country at all.

The German embassies like to use several months to process visa applications and also like to refuse one day before the planned trip because they allegedly had not enough time to process the application.

if you have no more German citizenship and no more from the EU, you should apply for a visa because you do not have a German, or EU citizens are more.
