Do headphones let my music through?

heyho,

I have the IFROGZ Coda HP headphones, which I wear most of the time and listen to music with. However, I've noticed that my music always plays through. That is, even when I have the volume turned down, people around me can hear everything. So I looked online to see if others have the same problem or if it's just me. I haven't found anyone else with the same problem online, though…

Does anyone know how I can fix this or if anything can be changed?
