Konzert mit Mehreren Bands?
Hallo ich wollte fragen wie es abläuft wenn man zum einen Konzert geht wo mehrere Rock Bands spielen? Bin am 11.05.24 auf den I Prevail Konzert in Düsseldorf und gehe hauptsächlich wegen Set It Off hin 🫠. Ich freue mich schon die zu sehen auch wenn dann nur für 30 min aber vielleicht läuft es anders als ich es mir vorstelle…. Spielen die Bands hintereinander oder gleichzeitig nur auf verschiedenen Bühnen?

Bands usually only play on festivals on different stages. But since these are tour shows, there isn’t. It runs so that the bands that come along are on the whole tour of the headliner and each play the opening.
Simply put:
It is played on a stage, usually in succession. After the first band has played their songs (usually between 30 and 40 minutes), then the second band will be reconstructed. Once this is finished, it is rebuilt and the headliner begins its show. The concert cards always have an entrance and start. You usually realize that the beginning usually refers to the bands and not to the actual concert. So you can always plan when you want to arrive in the hall if you don’t want to see the bands (but I would recommend it).
During the reconstructions it is usually quiet. On stage you will usually only see technicians and other crew members who check the technology, redesign the stage or check the instruments. Nothing special.
Why take more bands as headliner? Usually to make them known and let them play bigger shows. They also want to raise the mood and how a starter in a restaurant stimulates the “Appetit”. However, there are also other shows where the Support Acts are well known (for example, Five Finger Death Punch, which let Marylin Manson play as support).

The groups play one after the other on a stage and that is played on more than one at the same time, as far as the place, hall or outdoors allow.
If played one after the other, the pre-groups each have approx. 30 – 45 minutes playtime.There will then be remodeling work.The main group or solo artists then usually have approx. 90 minutes.What is played at “Additions” is different.Many play 1 pieces and say goodbye,some several.How to deal with the audience is also different.Many are very talkative,others just say the next piece.

First the pre-bands, then the main act. And if I can tell you one thing, I Previal is live absolutely incredible.
After Parkway drive is second to my live favorites. And I’ve seen some bands live.
